(i doubt very many gravity falls fans actually visit my page, but i will address you as such anyway.) you've probably heard about the giffany sprite zip bomb. well, i'm going to take this opportunity to talk about the banner i have set (as of the time writing of this post, though i doubt i'm changing it any time soon since i've had it up for so long)

shoutout to Paul Robertson for making the original Giffany art to begin with. although it takes a little bit more effort to distort an image in audacity than it does to generate something with AI, i don't really think i deserve much credit here lol

anyway yeah i'm still animating that silly cartoon i wanted to make, spoiler alert, it'll be about a weird dog

i just dug up my lost cartoon from the tombstone known as my old computer by the way, that one's about two flowers. i might release it without audio in the art portal, or i might just ad lib something over it and release it as a movie project, idk. hell i might even release it in the same video as the dog cartoon as a bonus since it's so short lol

just depends on how things go

oh yeah and i blame my slow pace on the fact that i decided to do summer classes honestly. well. that but i'm also. currently teaching myself how to use the software i'm using so yea

I know this sounds bad but I've done it before in Blender and it looked pretty good! I just never released that because I left it incomplete and after a long enough time I forgot how I was going to finish it. Now I've got access to Adobe Flash Pro CS6 (don't ask how) and I'm going to try to do something funny with it. I'm writing this post to ensure that I complete it (this is like making a promise), no matter how short and stupid it is, or how long I end up taking to do it. I might also release the unfinished footage from my very first attempt because I think it would actually be a shame if nobody ever saw it. I'm not exactly ashamed of it, it's not really cringe or anything.

P.S. I just realized that I actually made a really simple animation long before the mysterious unfinished one I'm talking about in this post, and released it as a gif. So technically that's the first, and there's an unreleased second animation. And now I'm working on a third, that's actually, technically, going to be my second movie, because I did art for a friend of mine's short clip once.

I assume you, the reader, feel inconvenienced by the fact that I have chosen to once again, ramble, at length, about what I am doing. You might not have read this whole thing, or you might not want to, or perhaps, you have, and you feel as though I have wasted your time. You may even be considering unfollowing, like many others have, because I've been inactive, and the main thing I've had to post as of late is paragraphs. You might think I'm taking up unnecessary space, getting in the way of artists that you like, ruining your mood and taking away your precious viewing pleasure... Or something. Some might say it's no wonder I have ultimately chosen to major in English (and with a concentration in film studies no less, for I am a cinephile). However, consider the following:

I'm going to assume literally nobody missed me but I'm going to attempt to make a stable return where I try to stay active and actually post stuff. I'm 20 now, my life situation has improved and I'm going to be 21 in like 3 months so like I promise I'm not going to do anything stupid or insane lmao.

I know my last few posts have been about how I'm better now but they're kinda immaturely worded and low-key some of them I don't even remember writing. That's probably because I've had a disdain towards this site for a while because of personal reasons, nothing serious lol.

I'll probably make a post to the front page once I've uploaded enough stuff, bit too early to make a big show out of my return, y'know. I would actually prefer not to, I don't really need a welcome back party and I'm kinda shy and I don't really trust people to not be weird about it just yet so like yeah... But, you know, I probably should do that, if I want to get scouted again and actually participate on NG.

If you're concerned that my whole "oooh I wasn't myself ooh my life situation was bad ooooh personal reasons" is some sort of cover up for something. It's not like I've done anything bigoted or illegal I just used to be really annoying and embarrassed myself a lot as a teen lol. I'm sure the most embarrassing things are long gone and forgotten by now after my 2 year break so!!! You may go ahead and dig through my stuff I don't care!!! I'm not scared!!! At best you'll just get something just, mildly obnoxious!!!! I mean thank GOD I'm not famous or anything and that people just forget about me because I'm not notable at all right? Right? (Even people that I wish remembered me...)
